The Abkhazian delegation includes Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Zurab Kadzhaya, Minister of Foreign Affairs Daur Kove, Deputy Head of the Administration of Gagra District Alkhas Bartsits and Head of the Administration of Pitsunda Ruslan Khuntzaria.

The Abkhazian delegation takes part in the anniversary celebrations at the invitation of the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin.

At the bishop's residence at the Cathedral of St. Alexander Nevsky, the head of the Presidential Office of Abkhazia Alkhas Kvitsinia met with the head of the Nizhny Novgorod Metropolitanate. Kvitsinia presented the Gospel in the Abkhaz language to Metropolitanate George.
