This follows from the new order "On measures to protect health of the population of the Republic of Abkhazia from coronavirus infection Covid-19", signed by President Aslan Bzhania on February 9.

“In order to resume the activities of educational organizations in the Republic of Abkhazia, taking into account the sanitary and epidemiological situation and the peculiarities of the spread of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19, establish the following procedure and conditions for organizing the educational process:

1) permit the activities of preschool organizations and general educational organizations of primary education with the admission to educational process of pupils 1-4 grades inclusive from February 15, 2021;

2) permit the activities of general education organizations of primary general, basic general and secondary general education with the admission of pupils of 5-11grades inclusive from February 22, 2021,” the Order says.
