Tourists were not able to visit Abkhazia in May, June and July due to the spread of coronavirus infection. At the same time, we have successfully developed domestic tourism. The Auadkhara boarding house is a vivid example of this. The attendance of this object has doubled compared to the summer months of last year.
Minister of Tourism Teimuraz Khishba told about it at the press center of the Abkhaz television on October 28.
There has begun its work a recreation center in Kodor Gorge this year.
“This is a new facility but it is already popular among our citizens. This is both informative and has a beneficial effect on people's health, ” Minister said.
Khishba is confident that domestic tourism will not decrease its development rates in the future.
