Health Minister Eduard Butba was invited to the meeting, he reported to the Security Council members on the epidemic situation in the republic and measures to counter the spread of coronavirus infection.

According to the head of the Ministry of Health, the situation with the spread of COVID-19 in the republic remains difficult, there is no decline in the incidence, and the average daily rates have not changed recently.

“Unfortunately, the number of deaths is growing,” said Eduard Butba.

The minister also informed that the occupancy rate of covid hospitals has not changed, noting that the course of the disease is more difficult.

Butba also said that the rate of vaccination of citizens has decreased.

“In total, 12,887 people were vaccinated in the republic,” he said.

Minister also reported to the members of the Security Council that despite all the difficulties, the republic's medical institutions are provided with all the necessary list of medicines and personal protective equipment.

There are difficulties with expensive drugs "Artlegia" and "Actemra".

Minister connects the reasons for the exponential increase in the incidence rate with the population's ignorance of restrictive measures.

The members of the Security Council also discussed other topical issues.
