The head of the UKS, Timur Agrba, informed President that 543 million were allocated for repair and restoration work under Investment Program, of which 225 million rubles had already been financed.
The purchase of all equipment will cost 440 million rubles.
A new transformer has already been installed at the substation. Another one is planned to be installed by the end of November. After reconstruction, the maximum load of the substation will be 250 megawatts. To date, the maximum capacity of the substation is 80-90 megawatts. The overhaul of the substation is planned to be completed by the end of 2022.
Aslan Bzhania also got acquainted with the state of affairs on Psou high-voltage line. The pillars were damaged there during a natural disaster. Five new pillars have now been installed.
This line ensures the flow of electricity from Russia to Abkhazia when the Achguara overhead line fails. Its length is 38.7 kilometers. Power - 220 kilowatts.
