Currently there are 90 people in Gudauta Central Hospital, 76 of them with COVID-19 diagnosis. 20 people in serious condition, 26 patients of moderate severity. 

A 62-year-old patient with coronavirus infection and bilateral polysegmental pneumonia died at Gudauta hospital. Despite all the ongoing therapy, the patient died on December 10 from cardiovascular respiratory failure. 

There are 34 patients with confirmed COVID-19 in Sukhum infectious hospital, the health of two patients is severe. 25 patients in Ochamchira Central Hospital. 

The mobile multidisciplinary hospital deployed in Sukhum is treating 49 patients with confirmed coronavirus infection. 46 patients are of moderate severity, 3 people in serious condition. 

A patient born in 1946 with severe coronavirus infection and community-acquired bilateral polysegmental pneumonia died in a mobile hospital. Despite all the medical assistance provided, the woman died on the night of December 9. 

The total number of detected cases of coronavirus in Abkhazia today is 7043 people. 95 deaths. 5126 people recovered.
