“The personnel of the mobile multidisciplinary hospital is preparing to receive patients. Today, the hospital will be fully expanded and ready to receive patients with coronavirus infection. The hospital is fully equipped with modern equipment and medicines. The personnel are trained. The hospital servicemen took part in provision of medical care to patients with coronavirus infection in the Republic of Dagestan.

There are 113 servicemen in the mobile medical unit. In addition to the deployed tents, we were given the opportunity to accommodate the personnel of the mobile hospital and patients in stationary premises. All patients with coronavirus infection who will receive treatment will be accommodated in buildings in stationary conditions. The Administration and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Abkhazia provided us with this opportunity, as well as interaction at the highest level.

The tents are deployed in order to comfortably fulfill the tasks of the medical personnel in the "red zone". The reception area, laboratory and X-ray room will be deployed in the tents. The servicemen of a mobile multidisciplinary hospital of the Southern Military District  made a march on their own in standard equipment from Budyonnovsk (Stavropol Territory) to the Republic of Abkhazia, covering a distance of about 800 kilometers from 17 to 18 October this year. The traffic safety of the column was provided by the crews of the military traffic police of the Southern Military District.

The mobile multidisciplinary hospital is a field medical unit for inpatient treatment of patients with new coronavirus infection.

The hospital is equipped with artificial ventilation devices, monitors for intensive observation of patients, X-ray machines, ultrasound machines, blood analyzers and a PCR laboratory.
