OPERATIONAL HEADQUARTERS: FOUR PEOPLE DIED IN GUDAUTA HOSPITAL

Sukhum. 15 October 2020. Apsnypress. 285 people carried out testing for coronavirus infection, 100 of them have confirmed  COVID-19.

Currently, there are 152 people in Gudauta Central Hospital, 129 of them have confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis, 18 people are in serious condition, 41 of moderate severity, 19 patients have been discharged.

9 people were delivered to Gudauta hospital during the day.

On October 15, a patient born in 1938, died in Gudauta hospital. She was admitted to intensive care unit on October 12 with bilateral polysegmental pneumonia. Despite all the therapy, the woman died of cardiovascular and pulmonary insufficiency. The woman had concomitant pathological diseases.

A patient born in 1941 died in Gudauta hospital On October 14. He was admitted to the intensive care unit on the same day in an extremely serious condition. Despite all the medical and resuscitation measures carried out, the man died.

A patient, born in 1948, was admitted with bilateral polysegmental pneumonia on October 6. The man received the necessary treatment, but despite this, the patient's condition worsened and he died from acute cardiovascular and respiratory failure on October 14.

On October 14, a covid-positive  patient, born in 1940 died in Gudauta Hospital. He was admitted to intensive care unit on October 5. The patient received the necessary treatment, but despite this, he died from cardiovascular and pulmonary insufficiency.

There are 26 people with confirmed Covid-19 in Sukhum infectious diseases hospital,13 in Gagra CRH, 11 people in Ochamchira.

The total number of detected coronavirus cases in Abkhazia today is 2579 people. Of these, 1167 recovered, 27 died.

The operational headquarters calls on the citizens of Abkhazia to observe all necessary precautions to avoid infection.
