In 2021 it is planned to repair the equipment of the Ingur HPP - the main source of energy supply for Abkhazia. In this regard, the parties discussed the supply of electricity to the Republic during the shutdowns of the hydroelectric units as part of the repair.

There were also presented the results of the technical audit of the electric power facilities of the Republic of Abkhazia, which Russian experts conducted at the request of the Abkhaz side. Based on the results of the audit, a list of measures will be formed to improve the condition of power equipment.
