ASLAN BZHANIA DISCUSSED SECURITY ISSUES WITH HEADS OF FORCE DEPARTMENTS

Sukhum. January 31, 2022. Apsnypress. President Aslan Bzhaniya discussed security issues with heads of law enforcement agencies. During a telephone conversation, Robert Kiut, the head of the State Security Service, informed the head of state about the large-scale joint Abkhaz-Russian anti-terrorist exercises in Sukhum.

Kiut noted that they were successful. They were attended by about 500 people from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Security Service, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the State Guard Service of Abkhazia and the FSB of Russia.

Interior Minister Walter Butba reported to the head of state on the results of regular raids to identify facts of illegal cryptocurrency mining.

President instructed to intensify work in this direction, as well as to control previously disconnected facilities.

The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also informed President about the fact that the sale of drugs of an especially large scale was suppressed.

Aslan Bzhaniya drew the attention of security forces to the need to strengthen work to ensure the current restrictive measures to counter the spread of COVID-19.

During the telephone conversation between President and the heads of law enforcement agencies, a number of other topical issues were discussed, the press service of President reported.
