Avidzba informed Inal Ardzinba about the current activities of the Plenipotentiary Representation of the Republic of Abkhazia in Turkey, in particular, about the ongoing joint work with public organizations of the Abkhaz and Caucasian diasporas in Turkey.

Foreign Minister of Abkhazia Inal Ardzinba stressed the importance of cooperation with Turkish public organizations in order to strengthen the objective image of the Republic of Abkhazia.

The plenipotentiary also reported on the initiatives being prepared for implementation in humanitarian and cultural spheres.

The Plenipotentiary Representation of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Republic of Turkey was established in 1994 in Istanbul on behalf of the first President of the Republic of Abkhazia Vladislav Ardzinba. Ibrahim Avidzba was appointed Plenipotentiary Representative of Abkhazia in Turkey by presidential decree on March 18, 2021.
