The meeting was attended by Minister of Education and Language Policy of the Republic of Abkhazia Inal Gablia,  Minister Assistant Timur Gobechiya, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of South Ossetia Natali Gassieva, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, Ministry of Finance of Russia and Rossotrudnichestvo.

The meeting participants discussed the mechanism for ensuring textbooks delivery to Abkhazia and South Ossetia, approved for use in state-accredited educational programs of primary, general, basic general and secondary general education by order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. The Russian side confirmed its intentions to provide Abkhazia and South Ossetia with textbooks by the end of this year.
