The head of the Ministry of Finance presented Prime Minister the information on the results of work for 5 months of this year and forecasts for the remaining period of 2021.

Budget revenues for 5 months of 2021 amounted to 3.6 billion rubles, taking into account financial assistance from Russia and other gratuitous receipts.

According to Minister of Finance, a gradual and steady growth of own income has been observed since January of this year - the figure for 5 months is 380 million rubles more than the same period of the previous year. Most of the amount exceeding forecasts for 5 months is occupied by tax revenues - 377 million rubles.

Vladimir Delba also spoke on the expenditure side of the budget. As before, one of the main items of all expenditures is the financing of social obligations, meeting the needs of the health care system.

“We continue to work in the format of increased attention to budget spending. Funds reach recipients for urgent, priority and justified needs, ” Delba said.

The Ministry of Finance has also begun the process of gradual repayment of the state's debts to companies.

“We have a positive forecast in this regard. Budget funds, if sent to recipients, will return back to the budget system, including extra-budgetary funds. For example, we are seeing an increase in cash inflows to the Pension Fund after we fulfill our obligations to repay debts, ” Delba said.
