ALEXANDER ANKVAB AND VLADIMIR DELBA DISCUSSED THE STATE OF FUNCTIONS IN THE BUDGETARY SPHERE

Sukhum. April 12, 2021. Apsnypress. Prime Minister Alexander Ankvab met with Deputy Prime Minister, Finance Minister Vladimir Delba, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reports.

“Good afternoon, Vladimir Valerievich. Tell us about the state of affairs in the budgetary system, how is funding for projects of departments, how the costs associated with COVID-19 are funded, "-  Alexander Ankvab opened the meeting.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, who acted as Prime Minister during Ankvab's illness, spoke about the work of the government, the dynamics of budget execution, priority areas for spending it, the implementation of measures to protect the population from COVID-19, etc.

Vladimir Delba said that the level of the country's own income amounted to 1.2 billion rubles, which indicates the growth rate in relation  to the same period of the previous year. Growth volume is 21%.

“The situation can be assessed as stable. As before, financing of activities related to healthcare remains a priority in terms of the budget funds use. In the first quarter, financing of a separate budgetary measure to combat COVID-19 started (the total volume of the annual program is 50 million rubles). There are other programs of the Ministry of Health being implemented, current applications of medical institutions are financed according to needs and income potential. The level of financing needs in this area exceeds 90%, ” Head of the Ministry of Finance said.

The rate of financing of the wage fund is 15% higher than in the previous year for the same period.

Delba added that there are still arrears in payment of pensions to citizens of the republic.

“Unfortunately, 65 million rubles remain unpaid for March. We are making efforts to mobilize debt. By the way, there were sent subsidies to the Pension Fund in the amount of 105 million rubles out of the planned 137 million rubles.

Prime Minister inquired about tax and customs receipts for 3 months.

According to Delba, the level of payment of tax and customs charges increased by an average of 20%.

“We are seeing an upward trend in both tax and customs payments. We note the dynamics of payment of charges by taxpayers. The level of penalties decreases. This indicates that taxpayers make payments in accordance with applicable law on time. The growth of customs payments increased by 20% as a result of strengthening the work on administration, ”  he stated.

Alexander Ankvab thanked Minister of Finance and recommended not to slow down the pace of work.
