ASLAN BZHANIA EXPRESSED THANKS TO THE DOCTORS OF THE RUSSIAN MILITARY HOSPITAL

Sukhum. March 1, 2021. Apsnypress. President Aslan Bzhania met with the head of the Russian mobile military hospital Abdulmedzhid Magomedov and his deputy Renat Kurbanov.

Aslan Bzhania expressed gratitude to the Russian military doctors for the help provided to Abkhazia in the fight against coronavirus infection.

“The work you have done was aimed at making the peoples of Abkhazia and Russia even closer. Thank you for the work that was shown in difficult times, your help will always remain in the memory of the Abkhazians. "

For his part, Abdulmedzhid Magomedov thanked the country's leadership and the Ministry of Health of Abkhazia for the comfortable conditions created for the work of Russian military doctors in Abkhazia.

"The issues that arose were resolved promptly, colleagues from the Ministry of Health also did not stand aside and provided us with all-round support, for which we are very grateful."

Aslan Bzhania presented letters of thanks and commemorative coins to Abdulmedzhid Magomedov and Renat Kurbranov.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has deployed a mobile multidisciplinary hospital with 100 beds in order to increase the bed capacity and provide medical care to patients with confirmed diagnosis of coronavirus infection in the Republic of Abkhazia. The hospital was located on the territory of the "Aytar" boarding house in Sukhum.

Since October 20, 2020, Russian doctors in Abkhazia have accepted up to 500 patients for a complex of medical and diagnostic measures.

During this period, more than 3 thousand residents of the Republic of Abkhazia received outpatient consultations in a mobile multidisciplinary hospital.

During the period of work of the laboratory, up to 5300 PCR tests were carried out.

The Mobile General Hospital is a field medical unit dedicated to inpatient treatment of COVID-19 patients. The hospital was equipped with artificial ventilation devices, monitors for intensive observation of patients, X-ray machines, ultrasound machines, blood analyzers and a PCR laboratory.
