President Aslan Bzhania noted that according to the information he receives, there is again an increase in the volume of electricity consumption.

According to the head of state, not all electricity consumption is due to the onset of cold weather.

"Taking into account the volume of electricity flow from the Russian Federation, this month the daily volume of electricity consumption should not exceed 8.3 million kWh," Bzhania said.

President has once again warned officials about personal responsibility in case of failure to fulfill instructions. “Nobody has the right to relax. We have a duty to rectify the situation, ” he warned.

Aslan Bzhania stated that he does not intend to hold such large meetings on this topic in the future. “I will make decisions based on volume of electricity consumption,” President stressed.

Health Minister Tamaz Tsakhnakia presented data on the epidemiological situation. According to him, thanks to the restrictive measures taken, there is a decrease in the incidence of coronavirus infection.

President drew particular attention to the fact that positive dynamics should not become a reason for relaxation. “It is important to take a more responsible attitude to the observance of sanitary standards in connection with the educational process resumption,” he said.

Acting Prime Minister Vladimir Delba reported that he and his fellow government members were monitoring the process of preparing educational institutions for opening.

“It should be noted that the level of preparation of preschool institutions and schools for the renewal is quite high,” Delba said.

President Aslan Bzhania instructed members of the government, heads of state-owned companies and other services to take patronage over schools for the period of the pandemic and submit a list of which official is attached to which school within two days.

“This does not mean that you have to help financially. No. It is about monitoring the observance of sanitary standards. You will have to work for several months in this mode. As soon as the problem with the pandemic is resolved, we can curtail this work, ” he said.
