VLADIMIR DELBA: NEW RESTRICTIVE MEASURES SHOULD BE STRICTLY IMPLEMENTED TO PRESERVE THE LIFE AND HEALTH OF OUR CITIZENS

Sukhum. January 12, 2021. Apsnypress. Acting Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance Vladimir Delba held a meeting on measures to implement the RA President's Order of January 12, 2021 with members of the government and representatives of the involved departments.

He noted that the new restrictive measures must be strictly implemented in order to preserve the life and health of citizens. He told his colleagues that the current month for the republic will be held in a special mobilization regime.

“2020 has become a difficult year for everyone, including the country's budget. Reportedly, 257 million rubles were spent last year, which were aimed at protecting the population from the virus. The situation with the disease taught us a lot: to appreciate the work of doctors, junior and paramedical personnel. People perform a heroic deed, we must help them. The most important thing here is compliance with the established measures and strict control over their implementation,” Delba explained.

Addressing the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he stressed that control over the execution of most difficult points is entrusted to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. “The responsibility of each employee is great here, use every opportunity to conduct explanatory work with everyone who is concerned with the execution of the document,” he said.

Delba also outlined the main tasks - maintaining social and economic stability, employment and incomes of the population.

“It is important to preserve the income of citizens, all social obligations of the state to citizens will be fulfilled,” Vladimir Delba promised.

Concerning the functioning of cultural objects: “We cannot keep cultural and educational institutions closed for a long time. If now we all manage to take the restrictive requirements seriously, and by the beginning of February there will be a stabilization of the situation, then we can talk about easing measures."

Particular attention was paid to the issue of resuming the educational process in schools and other educational institutions of the country.

“The fact that the educational process is not being carried out is not good, it is a threat to the future generation. This month citizens should consciously approach the issue of strict compliance with measures, so the country's leadership can remove restrictions and resume education in schools, ” Delba said.

There were discussed the technical issues of interdepartmental cooperation, coordination of some activities and methods of their implementation at the end of the meeting.

Vladimir Delba gave instructions regarding interaction with the leadership of administrative-territorial units on monitoring compliance with the mandatory mask regime, control over the prohibition of catering facilities, and establishing the operating hours of markets.

“We have mobilized all resources to protect the health of the population. Much has been done in this direction. All this is the result of interagency interaction and daily work. According to the Ministry of Health, there are only 1,896 beds in hospitals throughout the country, 600 of them are for the treatment of patients with coronavirus, and this despite the fact that there are more than 2,000 active patients for this period. These figures again call us to the need to help doctors and thank them for their dedicated work by strict observance of restrictive measures. "

The press service of the RA Cabinet of Ministers reported.
